This is a fair question, and one that we hear a lot. Many people have heard all kinds of stories that represent everything from to good to be true to baseless rumors about solar energy and how it’s not really an energy source—how funny! The truth about a quality solar installation in Phoenix is that it will save you a tremendous amount of money. Exactly how much will depend on you, your home, and what kind of solar installation package you decide on.For those who choose a full solar install, complete with rooftop solar panels in Phoenix, as well as a solar water heater, and a radiant barrier insulation (and a recommended a/c preventative maintenance package) the lowered cost of your utilities bills will have you rubbing your eyes to ensure what you’re seeing on your bill is accurate! Some of our residents have reported utilities bills as low as the single digits!
We hope to provide Arizona residents with the kind of cutting edge solar energy technology that will allow them to actually feed energy back into the grid someday soon. Unfortunately, the utilities companies will have to catch up to the solar technology in order for that to happen, and the electricity grid will have to work in both directions in Phoenix. In places where the grid is set up this way (some call it the “Smart Grid”) homeowners with solar panels who generate more energy than they use can actually get money back from utilities companies at the end of the month! These are called “deep green homes.”
Adair Solar Company in Mesa does offer a tremendous new solar technology to you that shows how close we are to getting to the deep green point in Arizona. With Echo PV panels, your rooftop literally becomes an energy source that creates enormous potential to power your home. If you want to hear more about how Echo PV works, call today to schedule an appointment with an experienced solar technician at (480) 827-1162.
Until then, don’t forget that the solar rebates and tax credits available to Arizonans now for rooftop solar panels and solar water heaters in Phoenix is incredible. Start saving money with a solar install in Phoenix before it gets hot and you start paying more!

With that said, we want you to be aware of what your choosing when you decide which solar company in Phoenix to go with. So here are a few of the services, accreditations, and accolades Adair Solar Company in Mesa offers that you need to be looking for in a solar provider that installs solar water heaters, rooftop solar panels, radiant barrier insulation, and other home efficiency equipment in Arizona.1. Is the company you’re using to install solar equipment in Arizona certified and licensed to do so? This is important in the same way it’s important to hire a licensed contractor to build an addition to your home–if he or she is not licensed, you could be left with serious issues they can’t or won’t tend to when the dust settles or if you have issues with your installation, equipment, or service.
2. Does the company offer warranties on solar equipment in Phoenix? If so, do they have a track record of honoring those warranties? Does the warranty cover both the equipment and the installation/performance? At Adair Solar Company in Mesa, all of this is warrantied extensively–up to 12 years.
3. Does the solar equipment provider and local Phoenix solar installer you have chosen have a record with the Better Business Bureau? If so, is it good? Adair Solar is proud of its 35 years of service with a BBB rating of excellent.
4. Does the solar company in Phoenix you’re considering have the Financing Seal of Approval? Adair Solar does. This means we can assist you in finding and obtaining the solar tax credits and rebates you need to lower the cost from a Phoenix solar installation company when providing you with solar equipment as well as the service required to get it into your home.

We are so excited about the news we heard from BusinessWeek today! According to the Associated Press quoted there, “The federal government has approved the Sonoran Solar Energy Project, which will be built on public lands in Arizona’s Maricopa County. Bureau of Land Management officials say it’s the first solar energy project approved on federal public lands in Arizona. The 300-megawatt project is expected to provide enough energy when operating at full capacity to power 90,000 homes. The 2,013-acre project is smaller than what was originally proposed (3,620 acres) and will use a fraction of the water (33 acre/feet a year) than originally envisioned (about 3,000 acre/feet a year).”This extremely powerful solar project in Arizona will create revenue, revalation, and promise for a more developed interest in solar energy in Arizona. Our hope is that the news of this project will engender new (and renewed!) interest in what the desert has to offer those who live here and even those whom we could potentially provide energy to in neighboring states like California.
Most importantly, we hope that the news will spread to area homeowners who are on the fence about installing solar panels in Phoenix and beyond. Residents in Phoenix are always surprised when one of our agents comes to their home for a consultation–they can’t believe the amount of savings that rooftop solar panels in Phoenix will bring them. When coupled with a solar water heater, the savings go up again–and paying for the solar installation is simple and cheap. This is made possible by solar tax credits and solar rebates from both the state and federal governments, and some homeowners may even find that their installation is free!
While this is not always the case, a Phoenix solar installation is usually quite inexpensive, and the savings you will incur will far outweigh the cost–over the lifetime of your solar panel installation, it will pay for itself over and over again!
So what are you waiting for? Get started today by calling Adair Solar Company in Mesa for a FREE in-home consultation: (480) 827-1162

We all know the advantages of a solar water heater in Phoenix. But there are a lot of misconceptions about how the good old sun works. Many Phoenicians have fears that a solar water heater installed on their home just won’t have that much value during the colder, and perhaps less sunny months of the year. Not so!
As a matter of fact, solar energy in and of itself works a lot differently than most people think it does. That is to say, just because it happens to be cold out, or it might be raining, or we’re having a dreary day, the sun is still doing its job! So what does that mean for Joe and Jane homeowner who have a solar water heater in Phoenix or the surrounding area? It means you’ll still be getting all the help you need from the sun to heat your water and more.
Do you remember being a kid on the beach or at the lake and having an adult tell you that just because the sun doesn’t “look” like it’s out you can still get a sunburn? The same is true for how the sun powers your home. Just because things might look a little like Seattle, the sun is still peaking through the clouds and the stratosphere, reaching your home, and yes, giving your solar water heater in Phoenix all the juice it needs to provide you with all the hot water you were looking forward to for that bath, that load of laundry, and more.
After 35 years of serving the Phoenix area in solar energy, Adair Solar Company in Mesa is here to tell you, the Arizona sun isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. Use the sun to lower your bills AND your carbon footprint! Call Adair Solar Company in Phoenix today for your FREE in-home consultation. Simply dial (480) 827-1162.
