Well, the good news is that there are enough US states on the map with incentive enough for the New York Times to be able to create a Top 10 list of solar states. So we say Go Team America!Arizona is not where we’d like to have seen it on the list–we ranked at number 4. So who were the states ahead of us? California took first place, and was followed by New Jersey and Colorado. While we obviously undertstad that these are VERY green states where energy is concerned, Arizona should be leading the pack–with all this sunshine and the heat we endure for months on end during summer, the payoff should at the very least be a smaller electricity bill at the end of July and August (at least!)
So, since solar tax rebates and solar tax credits are available to Arizonans statewide, it’s our job as a Phoenix solar system installer to let homeowners know just how they can benefit from investing in solar panels, radiant barrier insulation, K-VAR, and solar water heaters in Phoenix and the rest of the Phoenix metro area.
Many people shut out the idea of solar companies in Mesa and Phoenix because they think they just can’t afford it. The REAL truth is you CAN afford it, and actually, you can’t afford not to!
With a solar water heater in Phoenix and the other items Adair Solar Company in Mesa includes in its packages, from preventative a/c maintenance to radiant barrier insulation and more, there’s no losing money–the whole point of solar energy in Arizona is to save you money while also using natural resources so prevalent in this area.
Are you ready to save? Are you ready to help make Arizona Number One on the New York Times Top 10 list of solar states? Then step right up friend and make the call to get started today! FREE in-home consultations to anyone in the Phoenix metro area. Just call (480) 827-1162 to get started. It’s so simple it will make you smile

Well, this isn’t the first time we’ve heard of people getting rustled feathers over new equipment upsetting their view of the azaleas. In fact, the constant back and forth between what looks good and what’s the most efficient has long been argued by generations living the American dream.
So, what if you could have enough solar power to run your neighborhood, and pay little to no money toward electricity each month? Let’s say it dropped your bill from $100 to $80, or from $100 to $60. Would you be for it or against it? Many Americans love the idea of saving energy, greening up, and all that earthy jazz, but they don’t want large pieces of equipment in the way of their view of scenic landscapes, or the pool, or the kids’ play area, and so on.
Some solar installation companies in Phoenix and around the country are not able to offer their customers options that make it possible to have BOTH your view and save energy, money, and the planet.
When you incorporate one of our solar water heaters in Mesa or Phoenix with radiant barrier insulation, not only will your view not be obstructed, the heat radiating from that classically Arizonan roof will not be creating debilitating heat in the kitchen or bedrooms.
While the radiant barrier deflects the rays of the sun away from your home, your solar water heater–seamlessly fitted to your home to cause no obstruction to your view–will allow you to lower your monthly utilities even further.
And here’s another item that makes the “not in my backyard” argument an nonstarter: K-VAR! This handy device lowers your energy bill by eradicating the need for energy to be “hanging out” in the lines–it stops energy from traveling from the source to where it’s needed… until it’s needed! This little fella wouldn’t keep you from seeing a dime, nonetheless, it could be one of the best solar installation in Arizona investments there are.
Call us today to find out for yourself! Free consultations right in your house. We’re one Mesa, AZ solar company that will keep you from worrying about your view to the azaleas! (480) 827-1162

Since the last Earth Day in 2010, we have seen huge surges in growth for the solar energy industry. Strides that outpace the past five years have occurred in the past 12 months, not the least of which was a nearly $2 billion allowance for renewable energy from the Department of Energy for the state of Arizona. Naturally, this made us at Adair Solar Company in Mesa very happy, but this wasn’t the only state to have positive turns in solar energy efforts.
The state of New Jersey continues to make huge progress with solar energy, and Florida is catching up too. These states are having great success because they are offering better solar tax credits and rebates than ever before. Other states making this kind of progress in 2011 are New York and certainly California. California’s multiple strides will mean millions of dollars of savings for consumers, and impacts both Arizona and California in terms of “greening up” as a new major solar array used by California is located in our Mojave Desert.
We know that by the next Earth Day even more progress in the solar industry will have been made. As part of that effort, Adair Solar Company in Mesa, AZ will continue to be a part of the solution by offering Phoenix area consumers free in-home consultations for all manner of solar equipment installations in Phoenix and beyond.
Give us a call today to find out how you can save the planet and your bank account. (480) 827-1162. A representative from Adair Solar Company in Mesa, AZ can tell you exactly which solar tax credits and rebates you are eligible for. We now offer package deals on solar waters heaters, preventative a/c maintenance, and radiant barrier insulation in Phoenix!

FREE K-VAR for Earth Day Week!
Filed under Solar InstallApr 18Well, it’s that green time of year again, and we’re not talking about Christmas! It’s Earth Day Week (we decided it should be a week.) So, in the name of all the natural good, we decided we’d offer a special to all you Arizonans looking into a solar installation in Phoenix.
So here’s our proposal: If you sign up for an in-home consultation before April 23rd by calling (480) 827-1162, we’ll give you FREE K-VAR! That means that whether you opt for a complete solar package with Adair Solar Company in Mesa or not, you’ll get K-VAR.
What the heck is K-VAR? Well, let us explain. K-VAR is a way to greatly reduce the electric energy you use in your home. Essentially, what this gadget does is keep currents of energy from going to waste. It stops energy from traveling through your energy system, therefore lowering the energy that’s just sitting there, working for nothing.
Think of it like this: If your garden hose had water sitting in it from the last time you turned it on a week ago, you probably wouldn’t drink it! You’d turn the hose on and expel what was left over, then start with the fresh water coming out. The difference is that water already pulled from its source sitting in your hose isn’t costing you anything, but electricity coursing through your energy system is costing you a lot.
So, worst case scenario for Earth Day Week, you’ll get free K-VAR and save loads of money on energy that would have gone to waste. Best case scenario: You’ll get the K-VAR and a sweet deal on a total solar package with Adair Solar Company in Mesa!
We serve the entire Phoenix Metro Area, so call us for a FREE solar in-home consultation. (480) 827-1162.

We all know that there is a lot to learn about solar energy in Phoenix, AZ and all around the world. We’re generally aware as a global community that there is a lot on the renewable energy horizon that will change the way we use energy and the energy sources we’ll have access to in the months and years to come. But until now, a clear-cut idea that outlines all these changes in an easy to understand medium has not really been around. That’s why we were so excited to hear about a new PBS documentary called Beyond The Light Switch.
So what makes this documentary special–what sets it apart from others we’ve seen in the past several years? Well, it covers topics both simple and complex in a way that is palatable for all us consumers who don’t have access to the information that details the changes we’re facing in the world of solar energy, nuclear energy, wind energy, natural gas, and more.
In addition, this timely documentary is not focused on the politics or public arguments that the renewable energy field is facing–rather, it discusses how feasable different types of energy will be now and in the future.
Among the important topics dicussed are the prices of solar energy, how wind power can make a difference if we invest in it more intensively, and when and how the “super grid” can be built and used here in the U.S. and abroad.
To check out more details of Beyond the Light Switch, you can watch the trailer here at BeyondTheLightSwitch.com
Tell us what you think about it when you see it–check your local PBS listings to find out when it’s on. Specifically, we’d like to hear what you think this information might mean for the future of renewables and solar power companies in Phoenix and how it might be delivered to you!

We thought this was one of the coolest bits of solar energy news this week. So naturally we had to share it!
Salem City, New Jersey has plans in motion to turn an old landfill into two or three megawatt solar energy system. The landfill, which is no longer active, will be sold to whichever entity offers the highest bid on the land. To add some more whip cream on top of this ingenious idea, the plan to create a solar array here will also create some money for Salem City. How? By making it possible for residents of the area to make use of solar tax credits and rebates, thus bringing more solar business into the local economy.
According to the NJ.com website, the landfill terminated usage roughly five years ago and was covered with a concrete material to best “cap off” any waste and toxins that could otherwise creep through.
So, Salem City, are you ready for some solar energy action in your neck of the woods? As a local Mesa, AZ solar company, Adair Solar salutes this effort in New Jersey and we hope to hear more developments about it soon. If anyone out there finds out which company purchases the spot where the old landfill was before we do be sure to let us know!
Now THIS is the start to a great week in Solar energy for the U.S. — let us know what you think, and when you need a solar installation in Phoenix for your home, be sure to call Adair Solar Company in Mesa! (480) 827-1162

Well, we have to admit it — using the sun isn’t the only way to be a cool cat in the desert. This time of year especially calls for water conservation and using what may seem like never-ending resources carefully. That’s why we’re very happy when someone chooses to have a solar water heater installed in Phoenix, and even happier when we hear utility companies like Salt River Project rallying the support of their consumers to save water here in this arid desert.
There are two things we at Adair Solar Company in Phoenix want you to save: your money, and your environment. We don’t have to extrapolate out to the stratosphere to see that having the luxury of water in a desert is privilege enough, so treating it as such and not abusing it will save you money and be better for the state of Arizona too.
Here are some tips we picked up from SRP’s Water Awareness Month webpage:
1. Did you know that you are entitled to a tax credit for water harvesting? This is just a fancy way of saying you use gutters and other equipment to rewater your yard so that water doesn’t literally just go right down the drain. It’s also known as using “gray water” so be sure to mention this to your accountant when you do your taxes!
2. Take the time to repair those little drips around the house and running toilets. Most of these kinds of repairs do not require a plumber and many can be resolved as easily as using some Teflon tape on a faucet to tightening the chain on your toilet flusher.
3. Observe shorter shower times — don’t worry, you can catch up on some relaxing “tub” time in the pool… or just crash your neighbor who has a pool by showing up with hot dogs! Problem solved!
And we’d like to add a pointer of our own. If you are really committed to saving money and the ecosystem, call us about a solar equipment bundle. You’ll get a solar water heater, preventative a/c maintenance, and radiant barrier insulation as a package deal. This way you’ll get HUGE savings with solar tax credits and solar rebates in Arizona. Our consultations are FREE, educational, and we promise you won’t be let down by our offer for solar equipment installations in Mesa and the greater Phoenix Metro Area.
Call (480) 827-1162 and SAVE $$$ and the planet too!

You’ve heard about the cable and Internet companies offering bundles with their services — get Internet, phone, and cable TV for a lower price when you bundle. Well, the same is true for solar equipment… but we’d like to note that you’ll save a heck of a lot more bundling solar equipment than you will by bundling cable services! Here’s why:
When you opt in to solar equipment, you’ll be eligible for solar tax credits and rebates. The more solar equipment installations you get, the more solar rebates and credits you’ll be eligible for.
That’s why Adair Solar Company in Phoenix offers installations for solar water heaters, radiant barrier insulation, and preventative a/c maintenance — and you’ll be hard-pressed to find better deals on any of these products from any of our competitors in Phoenix.
We come to your home for a FREE in-home consultation and show you all of your options. We then determine what level of tax credits and solar rebates you qualify for. And here’s the biggie:
You get to watch your utility bills decrease by huge margins from the word go. If you’re like every other typical Arizona resident, you cringe at the thought of opening your monthly statements from the electricity company, especially once May and June (and holy moly July and August!) roll around.
When you choose our solar equipment bundle, you get to save by:
Using a solar water heater in Phoenix: Instead of creating heated water using electricity, you’ll save by using the sun to heat water.
Radiant Barrier in Phoenix: You’ll lessen the amount of heat entering your home by deflecting it from the attic back out to the atmosphere, lowering the heat in your home, making it possible to use your a/c less.
Preventative a/c maintenance in Phoenix: This will ensure that your a/c is running just as it should be so you’re not wasting money on a unit that isn’t working how it should — so many Phoenix residents blast their air conditioner thinking it needs to be working harder because it’s so hot outside — this is often not the case, and in fact due to the a/c unit needing freon or repair.
Give us a call to find out how you can enjoy huge savings with solar equipment in Phoenix. We offer the best in equipment, service, and customer care. Call us today! (480) 827-1162.
